Santa Claus can hardly wait for the Candy Cane Christmas celebration in Bonner Springs! Oak Street in downtown is festively decorated with candy canes and Christmas lights throughout the holiday season. This annual event features a candy cane hunt, lighted parade, Mayor’s Christmas Tree Lighting, and caroling. Take the kids hunting for candy canes at Centennial Park before the parade and tree lighting. Join us in the Community Center Gym after the tree lighting for hot cocoa, cookies, and pictures with Santa and Mrs. Claus. The event is co-hosted by Vaughn-Trent Community Services, Inc., Business and Professional Women, and the City of Bonner Springs.
