[ARCHIVED] Free Hunter Safety Course

The Bonner Springs Parks and Recreation Department will offer a free hunter safety course 6:30-10 p.m. Aug. 5-7 at the Community Center.

The objectives for this class include reducing the number of hunting accidents by promoting safe gun handling, informing young hunters of basic game needs and basic game laws, promoting good sportsmanship and enhancing relationships between hunters, owners, wildlife management, personnel and the public.

A maximum of 35 people may register for the class, and children must be 11 years old by the last day of class to be eligible to participate. To register or for more information, contact the Parks and Recreation Department at 422-3404.
