Public Use Request - Tiblow Trot

The Bonner Springs Rotary Club submitted a Public Use Request for the 43rd annual Tiblow Trot. The proceeds of the race are used to provide scholarships to Bonner Springs High School graduates. 
The request is for Saturday, August 28th at 7:00 a.m. and includes a 5-mile run, a 5K and a 2K walk.  Maps of the routes are attached. Approval is dependent upon receipt of a Certificate of Insurance.

Public Use Request - Disc Golf Tournament

Scott Reek on behalf of the Professional Disc Golf Association  submitted a Public Use Request for exclusive use of the Bonner Springs Cedar Ridge Disc Golf Course on July 23-25, 2021 from 7 am - 6 pm each day for Disc Golf Tournaments. The tournaments will be run by the Professional Disc Golf Association and will help raise funds for course maintenance.

Ordinance to Issue Industrial Revenue Bonds for DLH Holdings, LLC (Wilkerson Crane)

Action
Make a motion to adopt an ordinance authorizing the City to issue Industrial Revenue Bonds, Series 2021, in the principal amount of $8,400,000 for DLH Holdings (Wilkerson Crane).
Recommendation
The City Manager, Assistant City Manager, Finance Director, and Bond Counsel recommend approval.

Resolution for DK Fleet IRB Purchase Option

Action
Make a motion to adopt a resolution authorizing the reconveyance of ownership of the project to the company.

3.

BSRZ-01-21; Rezoning for Lot 1 of Bonner Crossing


Action
Make a motion to approve a zoning change from MX (Mixed Use) to A-1 (Agricultural District) and from A-1 (Agricultural District) to MX (Mixed Use) as indicated within the included legal descriptions subject to stipulations stated in the staff report.
Recommendation
Staff, along with a unanimous 6-0 vote by the Planning Commission; recommend approval by the Governing Body of BSRZ-01-21.
4.

SUP-01-21; Special Use Permit for Lot 1 of Bonner Crossing

Action
Make a motion to approve a Special Use Permit to allow for the construction and operation of a concert pavilion on property zoned as A-1 (Agricultural District) as allowed by the Zoning Regulations of the City of Bonner Springs.
Recommendation
Staff, with a unanimous vote by the Planning Commission, recommend approval subject to the conditions listed in the staff report.
