Violations
Outside storage is a violation of the
Zoning Ordinance and is not allowed in residential, office, and commercial districts. Contact the
Planning Director regarding storage regulations for industrial zoned districts. The following list provides some examples for which a violation notice would be issued:
- Building material, lumber, wire, metal, tires, concrete, masonry products, plastic products, tin, cans, glass, auto part, junk, or refuse
- Furniture, appliances, televisions, sinks, broken toys, or bicycles
- Loose trash, papers, boxes, barrels, rags
- Materials or equipment used in an approved home occupation that is not stored inside an enclosed structure
- Unscreened trash containers
