Insect & Rodent Control

Maintaining Properties

Property owners and/or tenants are responsible to ensure that all structures and exterior property are kept free from rodent harborage and insect infestation. When rodents or insects are observed on private property, the owner and/or tenant will be sent a violation notice. Proper and prompt steps must be taken to exterminate the rodents. However, these processes cannot be harmful to humans or domestic animals.

  • Cover boats and wheelbarrows or store upside down
  • Drill holes in the bottom of outdoor recycling containers
  • Keep roof gutters clean so they drain properly
  • Maintain swimming pools and drain it not in use
  • Periodically stir ornamental pools and water gardens, installs fountains or bubblers or stock with mosquito-eating fish
