Establish Utility Services

The City of Bonner Springs operates the water and wastewater utilities and contracts with Deffenbaugh Disposal Service for residential refuse service. The city franchises with AT&T, Evergy, Atmos Energy, and Spectrum to provide excellent utility services within the community. The Board of Public Utilities provides water service to small areas of Bonner Springs.

Customers should sign up for water, wastewater and trash service at City Hall, 200 E Third Street. Different utility companies serve specific areas of the city. Contact the utility providers for your location or call City Hall at (913) 667-1717.

Online Bill Payment


You may pay your City utility bill online at www.bonnersprings.org/paymybill. 

Direct Bill Payment

The City accepts direct payment from your bank account for monthly utility bill payments. If you would like to sign up for this service, please complete the Authorization Agreement for Direct Payments form. Forms may be returned to City Hall. If you have any questions, please call (913) 667-1717.
