The Finance Department is responsible for the financial operations of the city. Functions and operations include:
  • Accounts payable
  • Accounts receivable
  • Annual audit
  • Generating financial statements in accordance with generally accepted accounting procedures
  • Investment of city funds
  • Issuance of municipal debt
  • Payroll
  • Purchasing
  • Revenue and expenditure projections for preparation of the annual budget
  • Utility billing
