The Successful Firefighter

13001 Metropolitan, P O Box 38
Bonner Springs, KS 66012

A firefighter, to be successful, must enter buildings; must get in below, above, on every side, from opposite houses, over back walls, over side walls, through the panels of doors, through windows, through loopholes, trough skylights, by holes the firefighter must cut in gates, the walls, the roof; firefighters must know how to reach the attic from the basement by ladders placed on half burned stairs, and the basement from the attic by rope made fast on a chimney. The firefighter’s success depends on getting in and remaining there. A firefighter must always carry appliances along, for without them the firefighter is of no use.
