To figure the taxes on a residential home in Bonner Springs:
Appraised Value (per County Appraiser's Office) X Residential Rate (11.5%) = Assessed Value.
Assessed Value ÷ 1000 × Total Mill Levy (145.94) = Annual Taxes
Example:
$150,000 × 11.5% = $17,250
$17,250 divided by 1000 times 146.969 = $2536
