  1. Barnyard Babies

    Come out to this fun family festival and experience life on a farm – from barnyard babies to a tractor petting zoo, and fresh produce to kiddie pedal pull contests, giant balloon animals, games and much more! Receive a colorful map, Farm Passport and kid’s Barnyard Buck when you arrive. Get a prize when you visit all the Discovery Zones and get your Passport stamped. Kids redeem the Barnyard Buck at the Kids Market for a piece of fresh produce. The Discovery Zones share fun and fresh adventures of a day on the farm. The Barn Stage features live musical entertainment all day as well as storytelling by Dennis the Farmer. Kiddie pedal pull contests are at 11 and 1:30 in the Pedal Power zone. Pony rides and train rides. See a blacksmith work his trade. Watch an artist carve a wooden masterpiece with a chain saw. Learn how to milk a cow and goat. See baby farm animals up close in The Barnyard. Climb on tractors or in a combine cab and imagine being a farmer. So much to see and do!

    April 27, 2019, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

    Residents of Bonner Springs, list your yard sale items and address in our booklet for our bi-yearly city wide sale. People from all over the metro area descend on Bonner Springs for this special event looking for their treasure. Booklets will be sold at the Community Center. Listings cost $5 and the booklets will be at the Bonner Springs Community Center (200 East 3rd Street) for free. It will also be posted on Facebook.
